Mr. Varos Babakhanians was born and raised in an Armenian family in Tehran-Iran where he completed his elementary and high-school education.
In 1996 he was admitted to Vienna University of Technology (Technische Universität Wien) department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering in Vienna, Austria, where he studied Computer Science.
In 2002 he continued his education at Marshal School of Business at University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, United Sates. In 2004 he received his Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Business Administration emphasis in Corporate Finance, General Financial Management and Accounting. He graduated Cum Laude.
At USC he has always been in the University’s Dean’s Honor list and National Dean’s Honor List. After Graduating from USC and fulfilling all the necessary work and educational requirements he sat for the CPA exam and passed all the four parts of the CPA exam on his first attempt with scores of above 90%.
His work experience as a financial analyst and accountant started during the years of study at USC. After graduating from USC he worked in an accounting firm and meantime he passed the CPA exams and became a Certified Public Accountant. In his own accounting practice he has worked with small and start-up businesses, as well as medium sized businesses in the areas of business formation, organization, monthly accounting and payroll, income taxes, business opportunity analysis and tax planning. In addition, he maintains a large clientele of individual clients whom he advises on taxes as well as preparing their personal and business income tax returns.
Mr. Babakhanians works with variety of clients including high net worth individuals, start-up businesses, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and nonprofit organizations to provide them with their necessary financial reporting needs. He has emphasized on providing his clients with accounting services which includes the business formation and set up, review, and handling all of their accounting, payroll, and income tax issues. He also advises his clients on both domestic and international tax issues.
Mr. Babakhanians works in variety of areas representing his clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and Board of Equalization (BOE) in case of any kind of audits.
Mr. Babakhanians’s greatest professional achievement is the rapport and trust he has established and maintained with his business clients. They depend on him and he thrives on exceeding their expectations. By far, the most enjoyable part of his practice is meeting personally with his clients. It is very rewarding to be able to help guide the clients through their tax and financial issues.
